A new name and a new website

Wedding Video PerthGreyGhost Media is now Perth Wedding DVD. Well, we are technically still GreyGhost Media but we are now marketing our wedding services as Perth Wedding DVD. We have split our business into two core services, namely corporate productions and wedding video productions. Each now specialises in their key areas thus providing a better quality of service to their respective clients.

We also have a brand new website. We’d love it if you would drop in and check us out at perthweddingdvd.com.au.

Now with two for the price of one

The ceremony part of a wedding day has always been the most stressful for everyone involved in the day. It’s the reason we all come together and it’s not the kind of occasion where one can shout out “ah sorry, I missed that last bit. Can you go back?” From a videographer’s perspective, continuity is essential for producing a top-class wedding ceremony video. That’s why Perth Wedding DVD use two cameras at wedding ceremonies. Linked together via discreet radio communications our two camera operators synchronise their coverage according to a formula we have developed over the past six months of using this system. We now think our ceremony coverage is second to none. If you would like to see some samples of our two camera ceremony coverage, please feel free to come in to our Osborne Park studio and have a look.

Wedding Tips - March

Helping the family photos to run smoothly

A quick tip to make the family photos flow a little easier is to make a list of those you would like photos with, and then appoint a key person (someone who knows both families) to help wrangle your guests. Give your key person a bull whip and the list and ask them to arrange each group before they are needed (OK, the bull whip is optional).
This simple task will speed up the family photos, and save the photographer having to wait for uncle bob to come back from the car or Auntie Flo while she touches up her make-up.This months Wedding Tip comes courtesy of Nathan Archer from Archer Imagery
